Sterling: A positive move

Raheem Sterling was pleased to play his part in our winning goal against Fulham and believes our home form is giving us a platform to build from.

Chelsea triumphed 1-0 against Fulham at Stamford Bridge on Saturday to make it three wins in a row in the Premier League, and four on the bounce on home soil in that competition.

The victory was secured via a Cole Palmer penalty in added time at the end of the first half, when Raheem Sterling was tripped in the box by Issa Diop as he jinked his way into a dangerous shooting position after being found with a brilliant reverse pass from Palmer.

‘I was just happy to contribute in that way so that we could get the penalty,’ said Sterling.
