Abdoulaye Doucoure has hailed Sean Dyche as the ideal fit for Everton and believes his side is reaping the benefits of their manager’s straightforward approach.

Doucoure was once once once more on target for the Blues on Thursday night time as they swept apart Newcastle United at Goodison Park. Dwight McNeil and Beto scored in between the midfielder’s strike.

The victory lifted Everton out of the relegation sector and backed up their 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest last weekend. The mood around Goodison was once also in stark distinction to the closing time the Magpies visited.

Back in April, Newcastle took a big stride closer to Champions League football with the aid of inflicting a demoralising defeat on the then struggling Blues. Although Dyche’s side managed to keep away from the drop on the remaining day of the season, there used to be a feeling around Goodison that relegation to the Sky Bet Championship should be speedy approaching.

However, now, the feeling is very different, and Doucoure, who signed a new deal with the club ultimate month, has opened up about the modifications his supervisor has made that have helped transform his side.

“We knew from ultimate season that we wanted to change something,” he said.

“The supervisor is aware us very nicely and has a lot of journey in the Premier League, so he has just given us confidence and belief.

“He used to be a massive exchange for the club, and I would say that he is the perfect fit. The manager is very honest. He tells us the truth, no be counted what, so he’s been good.

“He has finished a lot for me. I was not even in the team. When I signed my new contract, he joked with me and said, ‘You are now not even in the picture‘.

“It was a exact shaggy dog story from him. It made me smile because I was happy. He believes in me, however he believes in everyone. He offers each participant a danger to play.”

Before the midfielder continued: “We knew beating Newcastle would take us out of the bottom three, so it used to be very important. It is so true for our attitude to be out of the relegation places.

“We knew Newcastle would be a challenging game, however I assume the performance was once wonderful and we deserved the win.

“The season used to be very good earlier than the 10-point deduction, but for sure we had been searching up before it took us into the backside three.

“As players, we try to focus on performances and to get as many points as we can, and I think at the second we are taking part in very good.”

Everton welcome Chelsea to Goodison this afternoon, and had it no longer been for a 10-point deduction after being determined guilty of breaching the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules, then the Blues would be above Mauricio Pochettino’s aspect in the table.

“We knew the Newcastle sport was important because we know that in the past, when we’ve won an away game, we come again to Goodison and either lose or draw,” Doucoure added.

“So we suppose the win was a large step and now for sure Chelsea is going to be some other difficult game.

“But at home, we can beat anyone, so we are very assured and we hope to have any other good result.

“We be aware of that except the factors deduction, we would be above Chelsea in 10th, so it capacity we are having a gorgeous season.

“The way we are playing gives us confidence, but now we want to keep going and working hard.

“Our crowd has been terrific; they always guide us, and with a bit of luck against Chelsea we can give them another win.”
