‘I’m so ashamed’ – Pundit slams West Ham ‘Embarrassing’ for what they did to David Moyes
Frank McAvennie has branded West Ham United “disrespectful” for their cure of David Moyes and says he is “ashamed” of the club.
Moyes’ upcoming departure was established officially through the Hammers on 6 May – however hypothesis involving his replacement had been rife in the weeks beforehand.
Talks between the club and Sporting CP boss Ruben Amorim had been shared, while reviews of an settlement with Julen Lopetegui surfaced before the legit verbal exchange on Moyes’ future.
Frank McAvennie – talking completely to West Ham Zone – published his frustrations with how the club have handled the departure of a supervisor who has served the Hammers well.
“I hope [there will be a large send-off for David Moyes]. I in reality hope so, he deserves the whole lot he gets,” he said. “I’m so ashamed of West Ham at the moment, because of what’s passed off [with Moyes]. The fact of the count number is, West Ham could have carried out it differently.
“Why is it that other clubs speak to people and it’s never in the papers, however when West Ham speak to somebody, it’s all over the place.
“I suppose it’s so disrespectful to the supervisor that’s in there now. No depend whether people prefer him to remain or no longer – everyone’s acquired their personal thought of that.
“I didn’t like the way they’ve played football, however I would want David to stay. But his defence – for any person who relies on the defence, it’s been awful. But it doesn’t count number what I think, what anybody thinks – what the membership have executed to him… Even even though he says, ‘I’m leaving’, have a bit of recognize and communicate to someone. You don’t have to go over the papers.
“Getting a guy [Amorim] in a personal jet – it’s embarrassing. And now they’ve acquired this different guy apparently, who’s coming in who used to be at Wolves [Julen Lopetegui]. I don’t comprehend if the followers will receive that.”
Will West Ham followers be given Julen Lopetegui?
As poorly as David Sullivan and the West Ham board have dealt with the departure of a supervisor who saved the club from relegation twice, delivered ordinary European soccer and gained the club’s first trophy in decades, the majority of Hammers supporters appear to agree that change is necessary.
Their instant issue will be the nature of his anticipated substitute in Lopetegui, with few followers seeming particularly enamoured with their prospective new head coach.

Julen Lopetegui does not appear to be a popular choice of successor for David Moyes.
The Spaniard used to be closing in on a move to AC Milan before fan backlash noticed the Rossoneri retract their interest. The ill feeling amongst West Ham supporters is less intense, however Lopetegui truely has lots to prove if he does prevail Moyes.
