Liverpool only need to pay €38M upfront to signal Bruno Guimarães
According to to a file from Spanish outlet AS, Liverpool can now sign Bruno Guimarães in the summer.
The record claims that his contract, which expires on 30 June 2028, includes a prohibitive release clause worth “just over” €115 million (£100M). The agreement will enable him to go away if it’s activated.
Release clauses are generally paid in full upfront whilst transfer expenses that are negotiated are usually amortised over an agreed number of years. What this capacity is that the fee is cut up into smaller, more cheap payments.
AS claims that “sources close to the operation” advocate Guimarães’ switch rate could be amortised over three years well worth €38 million (£32.6M).
This would make signing the 26-year-old a great deal more affordable.
Liverpool’s summer time method to Newcastle to sign Guimarães
According to a record from GOAL Brazil published in late May 2023, Liverpool and Barcelona “opened talks” with Newcastle United and had been “willing to strive to signal Bruno Guimarães.”
