Clifford, Sean Markus Adam Idah’s permanent announcement by Celtic is imminent after a protracted summer transfer controversy. After Idah’s exploits in the Scottish Cup final against Rangers in the previous season, Brendan Rodgers made it very clear that he wanted him back at Celtic Park.

Despite great uncertainty over his future, the Republic of Ireland international returned to Norwich City after scoring nine goals in 19 games while on loan. He has been there ever since. Celtic and Idah reached an agreement earlier this week that included an initial payment of £8.5 million plus an additional £1 million in add-ons. In a move that will set a new record for the Bhoys in terms of transfer fees, Norwich keeps a 15% sell-on clause. Idah played a crucial role in 2023–2034. It’s difficult to determine if a domestic double would have reached Glasgow’s east end without his braces against Hibernian and Motherwell, in addition to goals against Rangers at Ibrox and Hampden. Don’t worry, Celtic succeeded in achieving that goal and taking home a Champions League prize pool that other teams haven’t been able to claim. Apart from that, Andy Walker has ventured to guess where Idah would be able to settle in as a long-term Bhoy.

Andy Walker on the Celtics’ Adam Idah Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show, former Celtic striker Walker predicts that after readjusting to his new environment, Idah will become Rodgers’ first choice striker at the team. “I think it’s a good piece of business from Celtic,” he said. To be honest, I never imagined Celtic would part with that much cash for anyone. Simply put, I didn’t believe they had that kind of vibe, but it’s positive for the fans.

“I believe this indicates that you still require a striker.” He is, after all, the player from last season. Without him, I don’t think Celtic would have taken the championship. The first goal of Celtic’s team is scored at Ham in the Scottish Cup Final by Adam Idah, who beats Rangers’ Jack Butland.

“In my opinion, he scored crucial goals. Furthermore, based on Brendan Rodgers’ description of his training regimen, this man wasn’t even getting a game for Norwich, nor was he preventing Kyogo from joining the squad. Therefore, I believe he will overtake all other strikers at Celtic Park very soon. They have spent a tonne of cash on him. Brendan Rodgers likes and favours this kind of striker.

It seems like a wise business decision to me. He will undoubtedly play frequently because he plays Scottish football for Celtic. It should improve him as a player, in my opinion. The agonisingly long wait for Adam Idah is almost over. The complexities of transfers are something you encounter on a daily basis as a journalist. Before an agreement is signed, sealed, and delivered, there are sometimes a lot of moving pieces involved in the process, which makes it rarely simple. On the other hand, because of the constant worry of losing out, fans have endured an agonising wait for Idah to finally join Celtic. The story appears to be drawing to a close with just over two weeks remaining in the window.

Observing the majority of supporters’ response, there is a mixture of relief and exhilaration. Energy-draining sagas take a toll on readers; I doubt Idah has found it easy, either, with his future in jeopardy. But he’ll be on his way shortly. Rodgers will be essential to Celtic in the upcoming years, and he is poised to become a top target this window. I agree wholeheartedly.
