Chris Jack: It’s doubtful that the new Rangers signing will start the season against Hearts

Rangers’ summer acquisition Chris Jack claims that Clinton Nsiala is unlikely to start on August 3 at Tynecastle against Hearts.

On August 2, a journalist for the Rangers Review said that John Souttar and Ben Davies would be Robin Propper’s teammates if he were to start.

Nsiala was signed by Gers permanently from AC Milan, though it’s unlikely that he’ll make his full debut straight away.

At 4:42, Jack stated, “If he starts at Tynecastle, I’d be very surprised.” Therefore, I’m torn between Davies and Souttar. Balogun, in my opinion, will be more of a squad option.

Rangers shouldn’t rush the Clinton Nsiala vs. Hearts game.

Given that Nsiala is a young player who recently joined the team from AC Milan and may need some time to get used to the pace and style of the Scottish game, it makes sense to start him off the bench against Hearts on Saturday.

It will be easier for him to adjust if the team is introduced to him gradually.

Starting Nsiala in the difficult away match against Hearts could put undue strain on the young player.

Rather, by substituting him, the coaching staff can evaluate his performance in a less pressure-filled scenario.

Taking Nsiala off the bench enables him to participate fully in a competitive match without bearing the full burden of leading the team.

By using this strategy, he will be able to gain confidence and pick up tips from his more seasoned teammates while playing.
