After Adam Idah finally returned to Celtic on a permanent basis from Norwich City yesterday evening, the supporters are overjoyed.

After an outstanding loan stint last season, the Republic of Ireland international will cost £9.5 million, including bonuses, when he signs a five-year contract.

Arriving on January deadline day, Idah scored goals for Celtic at pivotal moments as they achieved a domestic double; braces against Motherwell and Hibernian, as well as strikes against Rangers at Ibrox and Hampden, created an incredible highlight reel.

The 23-year-old, though, will have his entire attention directed towards the future. It is not an easy assignment to compete with Kyogo Furuhashi for a spot in the starting lineup. Still, the Cork-born frontman will have plenty of chances to shine over the season.

Idah and Celtic are in for an exciting ride. Still, more than simply Norwich City stands to gain from his high-profile move.

Adam Idah will get a sizable payout from his former team.
The Irish Examiner reports that Idah’s transfer to Celtic is expected to help his former team, College Corinthians, who stand to gain €807,000 (£689,698) as a result of a sell-on clause.

The windfall will probably be paid out in phases, but it is a substantial payout for the football team the Irishman began playing for before relocating to East Anglia in 2017.

After converting the first of his two penalties in the thrilling Scottish Premiership encounter between Celtic and Hibernian FC, Adam Idah of Celtic celebrates.

Idah has had a great voyage in the game, but after being a key player in Celtic’s victories in the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup last season, he will be motivated to further establish his legacy.

It’s good to see grassroots football get some attention as a result of his success. After his presence is confirmed, maybe he can keep growing at Celtic Park.

Adam Idah’s presence will be welcomed by Celtic supporters.
The main emotion as Idah returns to the Celtic locker room after a protracted transfer crisis that has turned into the summer’s biggest narrative is relief.

With a lengthy season ahead of them, fans will now be itching to see further acquisitions before the window closes. To provide Brendan Rodgers a variety of choices to foster more success during his second tenure, the squad has to be deeper.

There has been an effort made to lessen collective bloating. To make room for newcomers, Hyeongyu Oh, Bosun Lawal, Benjamin Siegrist, Sead Haksabanovic, Joe Hart, and Hyeokkyu Kwon have all left.

Celtic now has the responsibility to conduct business in the market. In the last rounds of transfer activity, deals need to be made, so maybe good news on that front will arrive soon.
