Smirking Kenny Miller clamps Celtic supporter on air as Rangers hero avoids troll job following THAT red card call

The former striker has been a warm subject matter following his controversial Sky Sports commentary name as Rangers faced Celtic.

Grinning Kenny Miller resisted a troll attempt from a Celtic fan over his controversial defence of Rangers midfielder John Lundstram’s purple card on derby day remaining weekend.

Miller has been criticised for his warm take over Lundstram’s lunge on Alistair Johnston while on commentary for Rangers’ defeat at Celtic Park. The significant majority of viewers and pundits agreed the right selection had been reached in Glasgow’s east stop after referee Willie Collum used to be despatched to overview the incident at the pitch-side monitor through the VAR crew – with the man in the middle upgrading the yellow card he originally issued to a red.

Even Rangers’ boss Philippe Clement conceded it used to be negative judgement from the midfielder – however Miller wasn’t having any of it. The Ibrox hero claimed that Lundstram must only have been booked for the undertaking in a heated debate on Sky Sports – before later lamenting the involvement of VAR on the day in his Record Sport column.

Miller seemed organized for the pot shot coming his way as he smiled. He responded: “I have only been in there a couple of times. So maybe, aye.”
